Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Shri Parshottam Rupala inaugurated the international conclave today (17 October 2023).

 

Key message: The Indo-Pacific region, rich in resources and opportunities, faces shared challenges, especially those brought about by climate change.

 

In line with the philosophy of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" or 'the World as one family', it is imperative we collaborate to overcome challenges in the fisheries sector. To end, I resonate with the timeless wisdom: "When we heal the earth, we heal ourselves."
